CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Sconto and the Merchants have entered into a subscription arrangement pursuant to a Memorandum of Understanding ("MoU"), duly executed by the respective Merchants after having fully understood the product, platform functionality, and associated benefits.
  2. Sconto acts solely as a technology platform and facilitator enabling interaction between Merchants and consumers and does not act as a seller, reseller, distributor, or service provider of the products or services offered by the Merchants.
  3. In the event a consumer seeks cancellation, refund, or return of any product or service purchased from a Merchant through facilitation by Sconto, such cancellation shall be governed exclusively by the cancellation, refund, or return policy of the respective Merchant, as communicated to the consumer at the time of purchase.
  4. Sconto shall have no authority or obligation to modify, override, or enforce the cancellation or refund policies of any Merchant.
  5. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Sconto shall not be held liable or accountable by the Merchant or the consumer for any cancellation, refund, or dispute arising out of or in connection with the products or services offered by the Merchant.
  6. All Merchant cancellation and refund policies shall be clearly disclosed to consumers prior to completion of any transaction on the platform.
  7. In the event a Merchant has not specified a cancellation or refund policy, the consumer may submit their grievance to hello@sconto.ai. Upon receipt, Sconto shall facilitate communication with the concerned Merchant and ensure that the grievance is acknowledged and reviewed by the relevant team within 24–48 working hours.
  8. The Merchant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sconto, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of cancellation disputes, consumer complaints, or non-compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.
  9. Nothing contained herein shall exclude or limit any rights available to consumers under applicable consumer protection laws.
